After one year competing as the starter for Ohio State, Dwayne Haskins made the jump to the NFL. He slightly fell in the first round of the NFL Draft, but still went No. 15 to the Washington Redskins.
Many believe Haskins is the best passer in his class. In his only year starting at the collegiate level, he threw for 4,831 yards and 50 touchdowns.
While Haskins has a long way to go before he is considered a star in the NFL, the door is open for him to earn the starting job with the Redskins.
Right now, the only threat for Washington’s starting job is most likely Case Keenum. Nonetheless, all it takes is a strong performance throughout camp for Haskins to earn his shot.
In the event that Haskins is the starter for the Redskins, the Ohio State product revealed which defensive player concerns him the most.
Haskins didn’t dodge the question, saying “Khalil Mack is somebody I would not want to be touched by.”

Washington faces Chicago in Week 3 this upcoming season. It’s possible that Haskins becomes the next quarterback that Mack terrorizes in 2019.
Hopefully for Haskins’ sake, he doesn’t take any brutal hits from Mack or any pass rusher in his rookie campaign.
