Big Ten football is back. This upcoming weekend is Week 1 for the conference, with Ohio State-Nebraska being one of the games on the docket.

The Buckeyes are the overwhelming Big Ten favorites and bona fide national championship contenders. Anything less than another appearance in the College Football Playoff will likely be viewed as a disappointment.

As for Nebraska, the Huskers have a brutal schedule in Scott Frost's third season, but the hope is that if they can survive the early portion, a .500 regular season record and bowl appearance will be the reward.

" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">has unveiled his score predictions for this weekend, using his famous SP+ formula. One of the games he's forecasted is Ohio State-Nebraska. Connelly projects the Buckeyes will win 41-19.

If that score prediction is accurate, it will likely mean a workmanlike victory for Ohio State and a solid start to their championship chase.

As for Nebraska, the Huskers would have to be encouraged with their offense showing some life, as well the fact they kept the final score closer than they have in three of their last four meetings with the Buckeyes.

Ohio State-Nebraska will kick off at noon ET Saturday from Columbus. FOX will broadcast the action.
