Next Saturday, we get the first of many important matchups in the Big Ten East when Michigan State takes on Ohio State.

The Buckeyes have dominated their opponents thus far this season, but the Spartans will provide a stiff test defensively. On that side of the ball, Michigan State is one of the best units in the country.

However, we'll see if MSU's offense--which has struggled this season but looked a little better of late--can threaten a loaded Ohio State defense. The Spartans will likely have to score a little bit to stay in this game.

ESPN has put out its early prediction for Ohio State-Michigan State. The FPI greatly favors the Buckeyes.

Right now, OSU has an 89.6% chance of beating the Spartans.

Ohio State-Michigan State is set for primetime in Columbus next Saturday. Kickoff will be at 7:30 p.m. ET.

ABC will broadcast the action. Ohio State has won the last three meetings between these two programs and owns a 32-15 advantage in the all-time series.

Michigan State's last win over the Buckeyes came in 2015 when Sparty won the Big Ten and reached the College Football Playoff.
