The college football bowl season kicked off earlier Saturday afternoon with a match-up between Tulane and Louisiana. To celebrate the beginning of a new bowl season, ESPN put up a graphic with several coaches and players from various teams around the country.
Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence, Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa and Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray were the players featured on the graphic while head coaches Urban Meyer of Ohio State and Josh Heupel of UCF were the two coaches.
Immediately, everyone’s attention turned to Urban Meyer, who is at the center of the graphic. ESPN chose a very interesting photo of the head coach and it seems to be heavily photo-shopped.
Check it out.

It’s an interesting choice from the Worldwide Leader.
Another notable part of the graphic is the absence of anything Notre Dame-related. Even though the Irish are in the College Football Playoff, they got no love from ESPN here – and fans noted the snub.
