Over the weekend a scary story unfolded in Pittsburgh as former Ohio State quarterback and NFL wide receiver Terrelle Pryor was reportedly stabbed.
According to multiple reports, a woman stabbed Pryor at a Pittsburgh apartment complex on Friday night.
ESPN reporter Jeremy Fowler revealed Pryor was in critical condition as a result of his injuries from the stabbing. He underwent emergency surgery, but has reportedly recovered well over the past few days.
The Jeannette, Pennsylvania native is reportedly expected to leave the hospital in a few days.
“As Terrelle Pryor continues to recover, a source says all parties involved are hoping he will be released from the hospital Tuesday or Wednesday,” Fowler said.

Pittsburgh police charged Shalaya Briston with attempted criminal homicide and aggravated assault. Pryor received a simple assault charge as a result of the domestic disturbance.
According to Amy Hudak of WPXI, police said the two were “mutual combatants.”
Pryor signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in May, but was placed on IR and then released by the team just three days alter.
Earlier this offseason, Pryor made it clear he wanted to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He sent a message to the Steelers saying he’s ready.
