Late Monday night it was reported Georgia freshman sensation quarterback Justin Fields intended to leave the program as a transfer. That news appeared to be confirmed on Tuesday afternoon when Fields' name appeared in the NCAA transfer portal.
In the wake of his name being entered into the portal, ESPN dove into the options for Fields moving forward. The Worldwide Leader mentioned three schools that will be in the running to land the former top recruit.
According to Mark Schlabach of ESPN, Fields will "consider" Florida State, Ohio State and Oklahoma, however, it's not a done deal that Fields will transfer.
The source said that Fields and his father have had multiple meetings with Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart about his future over the past few weeks, and that Fields hasn't formally requested a transfer.
Sources told ESPN that Fields might consider Florida State, Ohio State and Oklahoma if he decides to leave.
Fields committed to Penn State early in his recruiting process, but the Nittany Lions don't appear to be in the hunt for the transfer quarterback.
