ESPN Keeps Asking Mark Dantonio About Ohio State Commit Gavin Cupp and People Are Not Happy About It

Mark Dantonio is in Bristol, Conn., today. The Michigan State coach is at ESPN for the network's "Car Wash" style of programming in which he appears on a number of shows.

A popular topic of discussion for the Spartans' coach has been three-star offensive lineman Gavin Cupp, who was committed to MSU before his scholarship was revoked after visiting Ohio State. Cupp committed to the Buckeyes yesterday.

There's a problem, though: Dantonio isn't allowed to comment on specific recruits who are yet to sign. That's an NCAA violation. ESPN either a) doesn't know this or b) doesn't care, because they continue to ask him about the situation despite the coach repeatedly saying he can't make a specific comment.

">@Espn encourages Mark Dantonio to commit an NCAA violation by asking him about a specific recruit (Gavin Cupp).

">@espn again asks Mark Dantonio specifically about Gavin Cupp. The bush league nature of this is remarkable.
