Week 5 of the college football season features plenty of strong matchups, which includes a Big Ten showdown between Ohio State and Nebraska.
Ohio State continued its dominance this fall with a 71-point victory over Miami (OH) last Saturday. Justin Fields had six touchdowns in that game.
Nebraska is also coming off a win as Scott Frost’s team needed a fourth-quarter comeback to defeat Illinois on the road. Adrian Martinez showed how dynamic he can be for the Cornhuskers, throwing for 328 yards and adding another 118 yards on the ground.
This game on Saturday should be a nice test for both programs. The Buckeyes can establish themselves as the clear favorite in the Big Ten, whereas the Cornhuskers could pick up their biggest win in recent memory.
While there's no denying that Frost is making significant progress with Nebraska, the current edge goes to Ohio State.
According to ESPN’s Football Power Index, Ohio State has an 89.8 percent chance of defeating Nebraska.
It's possible that this game comes down to whichever quarterback finishes with more explosive plays. Fields and Martinez are two of the very best in the country at their position.
Kickoff for this game is at 7:30 p.m. ET from Memorial Stadium in Lincoln.
