ESPN's Joe Schad "Expects" Cardale Jones To Start Tonight

While most Ohio State fans are split on who should start at quarterback for Ohio State tonight, most analysts have predicted that J.T. Barrett would get the nod over Cardale Jones. Until now. ESPN's Joe Schad told viewers on SportsCenter this afternoon that he "expects" Jones to start the contest against Virginia Tech. That'd be a surprise, to say the least.

Barrett was the starting signal-caller in 2014 after Braxton Miller suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in August. But against Michigan, Barrett broke his ankle and was forced to miss the rest of the season. Jones stepped in and led the Buckeyes to three consecutive victories - in the Big Ten title game, the Sugar Bowl and the College Football Playoff National Championship.
