ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit Unveils Latest Playoff Foursome, It Includes A Big Ten Team

Each week, ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit has been giving fans a look at the four teams that he believes have done enough to warrant inclusion into the inaugural College Football Playoff this January. After another fantastic set of games Saturday, he's got a number of important changes. Big 12 fans might not be thrilled with what he's got, however.

Herbstreit has moved Alabama from just off of his board to No. 1 overall. He's kept Florida State No. 2, moved up Oregon one spot to No. 3, and introduced Ohio State as No. 4. That means that he's dropped TCU from the competition after the Horned Frogs had trouble putting away Kansas. It also means that his previous No. 1, Mississippi State, is no longer part of his field.

There are still three weeks of college football left, so nothing - not even Tuesday's official College Football Playoff rankings - is etched in stone. Still, Buckeyes fans have to like seeing that they're starting to show up on the radar.
