Ezekiel Elliott went from playing for one of college football's premier programs to the NFL's most-popular franchise.
Ezekiel Elliott, the Cowboys' star rookie out of Ohio State, compared today the expectations he has playing for Dallas to those of playing for the Buckeyes.
The expectations are not close, Elliott says.
Higher expectations certainly don't seem to have affected Elliott.
The No. 4 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft has been perhaps the league's best rookie - and maybe its best running back, too.
Elliott, the NFL's leading rusher, has totaled 546 yards and five touchdowns through five games. He rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns - including a 60-yard score - in last Sunday's 28-14 win against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Cowboys (4-1) are set to face the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday. The game will be televised on FOX and is set to kick off at 4:25 p.m. E.T.
