Ezekiel Elliott Reportedly "Public Enemy No. 1" For NFL Investigators

The NFL reportedly continues to investigate an alleged incident involving Ezekiel Elliott.

Ezekiel Elliott, the Dallas Cowboys' star rookie running back out of Ohio State, is reportedly being investigated by the NFL for his role in a February incident with the woman who accused him of domestic abuse this past July.

From ABC News:

A person in Elliott's camp said he recently was informed that, with the incidents in Florida and Ohio under investigation, the Cowboys running back is now viewed by NFL investigators as "Public Enemy No. 1."

The source said the NFL wants to make sure that there are zero mistakes the way there were in its investigation of former Ravens running back Ray Rice, and it is trying to be as thorough as possible.

Elliott, 21, leads the NFL in rushing.

The Cowboys are set to play the Steelers in Pittsburgh this afternoon. The game will kick off at 4:25 p.m. E.T. on FOX.
