A fine is not coming for Ezekiel Elliott.
Ezekiel Elliott decided to jump into the Salvation Army's big kettle after scoring a touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday night.
It was thought that the celebration would come with a cost, but it won't. Elliott was flagged for the celebration, but the NFL has decided that no fine is coming for the former Ohio State star running back.
Elliott had previously said he'll be matching any fine he receives with a donation to the Salvation Army, and someone close to Elliott says they'd be paying the actual fine for him - his father.
We're doubtful that a father paying his son's fine is allowed by the NFL, but it's a cool thought regardless.
The Cowboys are set to host the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football on Dec. 26. The game is set to kick off at 8:30 p.m. E..T and will be televised on ESPN.
