Ezekiel Elliott's Father Praises Urban Meyer After Son Signs Deal With Dallas Cowboys

Former Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott is now a member of the Dallas Cowboys - and as-of Wednesday afternoon, he's a very wealthy man. Elliott, who was drafted No. 4 overall, signed a nearly-$25 million deal ahead of the summer - which includes almost a $17 million signing bonus.

After the news broke, Elliott's father, Stacy, took to Twitter with a cool note about his son's college head coach - Urban Meyer. He makes it clear that he was right to trust Meyer with his son's career. Check it out:

">@OSUCoachMeyer "One of the greatest moments in my life is when I trusted YOU"! Your word is UR BOND! #InUrbanWeTrust! #GoBucks!
