Former Ohio State Basketball Assistant Chris Jent Returning To Buckeyes' Program

Thad Matta is losing one of his top assistants and getting one back. 

While long-time Ohio State assistant Jeff Boals is leaving the Buckeyes for a head coaching position at Stony Brook, former assistant Chris Jent is returning. 

Beloved Buckeye Mark Titus confirmed the news on Twitter. He's pretty excited.

Jent, 46, was an assistant at Ohio State from 2011-13. He played for the Buckeyes from 1988-92. The New Jersey native left OSU for an assistant job with the Sacramento Kings in 2013 and spent this past season with the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA D-League.
