Ohio State star Michael Thomas is no stranger to speaking his mind on social media, nor is he averse to ribbing Michigan fans. Today, Thomas did both.

Michigan is in the process of a shaky performance against Florida in the Peach Bowl. The Wolverines trail the Gators 27-10 early in the fourth quarter.

If they can't come back, it will be a disappointing finish for Jim Harbaugh's team. The Wolverines entered the Ohio State game with the College Football Playoff in reach and would wind up losing two in a row to close the season.

Michael Thomas is certainly enjoying Michigan's misery. He took some time to tweak the Maize and Blue on Twitter this afternoon.

"Team Up North still sad," Thomas wrote.

In fairness, Michigan is without a number of significant contributors. Rashan Gary, Karan Higdon, Devin Bush and Juwann Bushell-Beatty are all sitting out the bowl game to prepare for the NFL Draft.

Still, this isn't exactly how Wolverine fans envisioned this game going.
