Former five-star recruit Torrance Gibson remains one of the biggest "what ifs?" in the minds of many Ohio State fans.

Gibson arrived at OSU with a lot of hype and, after moving from quarterback to wide receiver, was seen as a player with serious potential.

University trouble ended up moving Gibson off the Buckeyes' team. He landed at a JUCO, though there were constant rumors of a transfer to a bigger school.

Gibson has now landed somewhere bigger - in a professional football league.

Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League announced this afternoon that they've signed Gibson.

Gibson was suspended by Ohio State in the fall of 2016. He landed at East Mississippi JUCO, but his time there was troubled.

Here's the full release from Edmonton, which is listing Gibson as a wide receiver.
