Former Ohio State linebacker Joshua Perry will have another opportunity in the NFL. He has signed with a new team.

Perry, who began his career with the then-San Diego Chargers and played last season with the Indianapolis Colts, has signed with the Seattle Seahawks. He'll join a Seattle roster that already has former Buckeyes Nick Vannett and Jamarco Jones.

Seattle announced the news of Perry's signing a short time ago.

Perry was a fourth-round pick of the Chargers in 2016. As a rookie, he played in 15 games, making one start and recording 22 tackles. After being released by the Chargers, Perry signed with the Colts in September 2017. However, he appeared in only two games with the Colts. Perry was released by Indy in May.

A former captain at OSU, Perry suited up for the Buckeyes from 2012-15. He compiled 298 career tackles.
