The former Buckeyes' star is back in the NFL.
Devier Posey had some big success in the Canadian Football League. That's landed the former Ohio State star another opportunity in the NFL.
The Baltimore Ravens announced today that they have signed Posey. He's been signed to their 90-man roster.
Posey, 27, hasn't played an NFL snap since 2014. He was drafted by the Houston Texans in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
The former Buckeyes' standout spent 2015 and '16 on practice squads with the New York Jets and Denver Broncos. Since then, he's been in the CFL.
Posey spent the last two years with the Toronto Argonauts. He was the MVP of the Grey Cup this past season.
Toronto released Posey earlier this month so he could pursue NFL opportunities. His contract was set to expire later this month.
At Ohio State, Posey had nearly 2,000 career receiving yards and 18 touchdowns. He was a two-time Big Ten champion.
Posey caught 52 passes for 744 yards in Toronto this past season. He had seven catches for 175 yards and a touchdown in the Grey Cup.
