Here's How Ohio State's QBs Performed During Spring Game

The 2018 college football season doesn't officially kick off for a few months, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy a little spring football action. Teams all across the country are taking the field this weekend for their first game action since the 2017 season.

While several teams cancelled their spring games due to inclement weather, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Iowa State to name a few, the Ohio State Buckeyes decided to move their game up, rather than cancel it completely.

The quarterback race is likely Urban Meyer's toughest choice this season. Dwayne Haskins and Joe Burrow are the frontrunners, but Tate Martell isn't too far behind.

Let's take a look at how they performed today.

  • Joe Burrow 15-of-22 passing for 238 yards and two touchdowns
  • Dwayne Haskins 9-of-19 passing for 120 yards and two touchdowns
  • Tate Martell 5-of-16 passing for 28 yards and 59 rushing yards

It was a solid outing for Burrow and Haskins, while Martell struggled to complete intermediate and deep passes down the sideline.

Urban Meyer commented on the race after the game, but didn't clarify if anyone had won the starting job as a result of today's performances.

Who do you want to see as the starter?
