Here's When Ohio State Football Will Begin Fall Camp
Ohio State's football program is two months away from training camp.
The Buckeyes announced today that they will begin "Fall Camp" on Sunday, Aug. 7.
Most of Urban Meyer's team - including the 2016 freshman class - is already on campus and they'll remain there for the summer, taking classes and working out.
This will be the fifth training camp of the Urban Meyer era in Columbus.
Typically, at least one week of the training camp is a de-facto "Hell Week" in which players stay in a hotel and have two-plus practices a day in the August heat.
Ohio State opens its season Sept. 3 against Bowling Green.
The Buckeyes also announced that their media day will take place on Aug. 14.
