Indiana Fans Have Started A Movement To Have College GameDay Visit For OSU Game

In less than two weeks, Indiana will host No. 1 Ohio State, the defending national champions. The Hoosiers are known for their rich basketball traditional, not for their gridiron prowess, so it's not that surprising that ESPN's College GameDay has never been to Bloomington for a football game.

Well, a determined group of Indiana fans has started a grassroots campaign to change that. Today, the hashtag #iufb4gameday appeared on Twitter and the movement began to take shape.

Crimson Quarry, the SBNation site covering Indiana, has written a few posts on the matter.

There's even a hype video for the cause and it's pretty sweet.

Making things even more interesting, the College GameDay Twitter account acknowledged the effort of the IU partisans.

If the Hoosier fans can pull this off, it would be an amazing job on their part. Alabama-Georgia and Clemson-Notre Dame are the marquee match-ups on Oct. 3, but perhaps GameDay will shock the world and visit IU.
