The first-year playmaker is expected to see the field a lot.

If you wanted to buy stock in an Ohio State freshman football player, there might not be a better pick than J.K. Dobbins.

The four-star recruit out of Texas is perhaps the first-year player drawing the most hype.

Urban Meyer has been raving about him, calling him a "grown man" and a "real one."

Dobbins is expected to see significant playing time this fall. The Buckeyes' running back is going to be listed No. 2 on the depth chart behind Mike Weber, but his skillset likely allows him to see the field in a bunch of different ways. The 5-foot-9, 199-pound running back should be one of the team's most-exciting players.

Ohio State opens its season on Thursday, Aug. 31 at Indiana.
