Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett, who lost the starting signal-caller competition this offseason to Cardale Jones, has been remained nothing but positive through the team's first two contests. Perhaps the photo below helps to explain why he's looked at as such a class act.
Monday, Barrett took to Instagram to post a tribute to his mother, who he says has always been his No. 1 fan. For the record, Stacy Barrett too has been supportive of Jones despite her son not getting the nod on game days.
Barrett may not be starting this year, but it's safe to say that in the future, he'll be the guy for Ohio State. It's pretty cool to see him honor his mother in public.
