After announcing his intent to transfer in October, Jalen Hurd will reportedly visit Ohio State this weekend.
According to a report from Eleven Warriors, former Tennessee running back Jalen Hurd will visit Ohio State this weekend.
Hurd left Tennessee in October amid conflicting reports and controversy, with several reports suggesting he might elect to enter the 2017 NFL Draft. However, he was not listed on the NFL's list of draft-eligible underclassmen. Now, it appears that he may find a new home in Columbus, Ohio.
If Hurd were to enroll, he'd be required to sit out the 2017 season in accordance with NCAA transfer rules, though if he graduates in the spring or summer, he'd be able to play right away.
In his three seasons at Tennessee, Hurd recorded 2,635 yards on 589 carries along with 20 touchdowns in 33 games. He also had 67 catches for 492 yards and six scores.
