Jared Sullinger Sports 'Unemployed' Shirt In Warm-Ups For The Basketball Tournament Game

Former Ohio State star Jared Sullinger reminded everyone of his employment status with a t-shirt today.

Jared Sullinger's 2016-2017 season didn't quite go as planned. He began the season on the Toronto Raptors with a broken foot, and after missing the first 41 games of the season he found himself in and out of the D-league. Subsequently, he was traded to the Phoenix Suns in February, where he was waived shortly after.

He's been a free agent since.

Currently, he's playing with an Ohio State alumni team called Scarlet & Gray in a tournament simply known as "The Basketball Tournament."

This morning while warming up before his game against Always A Brave, Sullinger rocked a t-shirt poking fun at his current employment status.

Sullinger would go on to record 21 points and nine rebounds in the contest, leading the team to an 81-72 victory and putting the Scarlet & Gray three wins away from winning the entire tournament.

"We won the game with defense," Sullinger said in his postgame interview per 247 Sports. "We battled. We rebounded. We take pride on the defensive end. I thought we played great and three more to go."

The winner of The Tournament receives a $2 million prize.
