Urban Meyer rules the college football world on the field. Jim Harbaugh now rules the college football Twitterverse.

As pointed out by Maize n Brew, SB Nation's Michigan blog, the Wolverines' new head coach is now the most-followed college football coach on Twitter. Ohio State's coach held the top spot until a couple days ago.

As of 1:30 p.m. E.T. Thursday afternoon, Harbaugh is at 269K, Meyer is at 263K.

Why has Harbaugh gained so many followers? He's kind of a nut.

Urban Meyer, meanwhile, probably (definitely) doesn't even run his own Twitter account. So this isn't a fair fight.
