Following every weekend of college football, FOX analyst Joel Klatt updates his top 10 teams in the country. Considering that this weekend featured a handful of upsets, he made a few interesting changes to his rankings.
Klatt has stated for multiple weeks that he believes Ohio State is just as good as any program in the nation. As you'd expect, he placed the Buckeyes in the top spot after their dominant win over the Wisconsin Badgers.
Oklahoma's upset loss to Kansas State resulted in the Sooners falling down to the No. 9 spot in Klatt's rankings. On the other hand, Oregon and Utah are firmly inside the top 10 after picking up big wins.
Perhaps the most intriguing part of Klatt's rankings is that Penn State is inside the top five. He also tweeted out that the College Football Playoff could potentially have two programs from the Big Ten.
Klatt also placed four SEC teams in his rankings - Alabama, LSU, Georgia and Florida.
Here is Klatt's top 10 in order:
Even though Klatt has been critical of Clemson over the past few weeks, he did acknowledge how well the defending champions played on Saturday.
Expect more changes to come to Klatt's top 10 next weekend, especially since Georgia will face Florida.
