Joey Bosa, On Instagram, Says Team 'Did It' For DL Coach Larry Johnson, Who Left PSU For OSU Earlier This Year

For Penn Staters, this picture hurts.

Larry Johnson was a coach in Happy Valley from 1996-2013, and was one of the school's most popular coaches. He was one of the only coaches who was a member of both Joe Paterno and Bill O'Brien's staffs, and after O'Brien left Penn State to coach the Houston Texans last December, Johnson was named the school's interim head coach.

After Johnson didn't get the head coaching job, he declined an opportunity to stay with the school under new coach James Franklin, and a few weeks later, he accepted a job as Ohio State's defensive line coach.

On Saturday night, Johnson's Buckeyes took down his former team in Happy Valley, 31-24. Ohio State's defensive line made Penn State QB Christian Hackenberg's life miserable, and after the game, star DL Joey Bosa posted a picture of himself celebrating with Johnson. According to Bosa, the team "did it" for Johnson, and the squad is blessed to have Johnson on his side.

Johnson and the rest of the Buckeyes will take on Illinois next Saturday in Columbus. The game is scheduled to kick off at 8:00 P.M. EST and you can catch the game on ABC.
