Joey Bosa Perfectly Describes How Fans Treat Players On Social Media

Joey Bosa has gone from killing it on the field to killing it at a press conference.

Joey Bosa, the San Diego Chargers' star rookie out of Ohio State, had quite an NFL debut on Sunday. The No. 3 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft totaled two sacks, two QB hurries and five total tackles in his team's loss to the Oakland Raiders.

The start of Bosa's NFL career didn't go quite as smoothly as his first game. The former Buckeye standout had a lengthy, public holdout that involved both sides calling each other out through various outlets. After signing his contract, injuries sidelined the pass rusher for the first four weeks of the season.

During that time, Bosa was unsurprisingly the focal point of a lot of social media backlash from San Diego fans (and others). Now, he's back to being the golden boy, first-round pick because he played well.

Such is the life of a professional (or college) athlete. And Bosa knows it.

Well said, Joey.
