Johnny Manziel Wishes Fellow Ohio QB Braxton Miller Well, Says He's A 'Big Fan' Of Ohio State Star

The two most popular quarterbacks in the state of Ohio won't be starting for their respective teams when the 2014 football season begins.

One of those quarterbacks, Ohio State's Braxton Miller, is out for the entire year with a right shoulder injury. The other, Johnny Manziel, is currently behind former Michigan State Spartan Brian Hoyer on the Cleveland Browns' depth chart.

Today, Manziel wished that Miller, someone he calls a friend, will rebound from his injury and be better than ever next season.

With Miller injured and Manziel on the bench, Ohio football fans might have to wait a little while until they can see their state's two favorite players play.

Ohio State opens its 2014 season Saturday against Navy in Baltimore. The Browns begin regular season play Sept. 7 against Pittsburgh.
