J.T. Barrett Seen Talking To Packers Staffers During East-West Shrine Game Practice
Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett is an interesting NFL Draft prospect.
Most NFL scouts believe that former Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett, one of the most accomplished players in Big Ten history, is a borderline draft prospect this year - meaning that if he's drafted, it'll be in one of the late rounds. That being said, we've seen players taken late (Tom Brady) ascend to become household names.
This week, cameras captured Barrett, who is playing in the East-West Shrine Game, talking to some Packers staffers during practice for the contest.

Ohio State QB J.T. Barrett was seen talking to the team after the practice on Tuesday. It was reported that Barrett had a very good practice which may have caught the eye of the Packers.
Barrett threw for 3,053 yards and 35 touchdowns with nine interceptions this past season. He led the Buckeyes to a Big Ten title and a Cotton Bowl victory over USC.

Barrett is a 6-foot-2, 220-pound signal-caller who will need to improve on his accuracy and arm strength if he wants to compete at the next level. The Packers are obviously set with Aaron Rodgers as their starting quarterback, but perhaps they could be in the market for a backup heading into the 2018 campaign.
