Miami (Ohio) took a surprising 5-0 lead over No. 6 Ohio State early in the first quarter. Unsurprisingly, that lead didn't last long.

The Buckeyes stormed back with 42 second-quarter points to take a 49-5 lead at the half. Yes, 42 points — six touchdowns — were scored in just one quarter. Goes to show how explosive this OSU offense is.

Quarterback Justin Fields led the explosive attack and put up some ridiculous first-half numbers. Fields has six touchdowns at the half, all coming in the second period. He's completed 14-of-21 passes for 223 yards in addition to 36 rushing yards. Fields is simply a special player and a gifted athlete.

Many are already considering Fields an early Heisman candidate. The Ohio State quarterback has 19 touchdowns through 3.5 games. That certainly makes a compelling argument in and of itself.

The Buckeyes have been flying a bit under the radar this season. Part of that's due to no marquee games up to this point. But Ohio State will have its shot to impress the nation in several prime-time games coming up this season.

Ohio State still has to play Wisconsin, Nebraska, Penn State and Michigan among others this season. Fields will have a chance to show off his elite talent on a national stage.
