Kirk Herbstreit "Absolutely" Thinks Ohio State's Ezekiel Elliott Can Still Win The Heisman Trophy

Ezekiel Elliott hasn't been getting a ton of Heisman Trophy love lately.

Recently, most of the hype for the sport's most-prestigious award has been going to Alabama's Derrick Henry, LSU's Leonard Fournette, Clemson's Deshaun Watson and, super recently, Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield.

The Ohio State running back can still bring it home, though, ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit thinks.

">@KirkHerbstreit Kirk, Do you feel Zeke can win Heisman if he has good games against Sparty, Michigan, & potentially against Iowa?

No college football player will have a bigger stage over the next three weeks than Elliott, who will get to face Michigan State, Michigan and a potentially 12-0 Iowa team in the Big Ten title game. He's already got good numbers - 1,425 yards and 16 touchdowns - if he can put together some elite performances over the last three games, the trophy could be his.
