Kirk Herbstreit Just Ethered An Iowa Football Troll

ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit gets a lot of hate from fans - all of whom seem to believe that he has it out for their team. Monday, Herbstreit had a bit of fun with an Iowa Hawkeyes supporter who implied that the ESPNer wasn't a fan of his favorite program.

Herbstreit, in one tweet, agreed that Ohio State's loss to Michigan State this past year was the "biggest fail in college football history" and somehow ethered Iowa regarding its performance against Stanford in the Rose Bowl. In short, he implied that Ohio State would have crushed the Hawkeyes in the Big Ten title game, and therefore Iowa would not have been selected for the Rose Bowl.

As a reminder, Iowa lost to Stanford 45-16 in a game that wasn't even as close as the final score.

Herbstreit isn't afraid to mix it up with fans from time to time. Iowa supporters likely won't like what they see here.
