Kirk Herbstreit Weighs In The First Half Of Ohio State vs. Michigan

Kirk Herbstreit speaks on ESPN about college football.

Aside from one crazy minute, Ohio State has looked the better team against Michigan through two quarters. ESPN College GameDay analyst Kirk Herbstreit, who played for the school, had a few thoughts at halftime.

Herbstreit, who actually picked Michigan to win, said that Ohio State's performance through two quarters is what fans have been waiting to see for weeks. He thinks the Buckeyes have had a "great" offensive plan as well.

Yet, Herbstreit also acknowledged that the second half is going to be a battle. It's 24-19 right now in Columbus.

Herbstreit was in Columbus for GameDay this morning, but he's currently on his way to USC to call the Trojans' contest against Notre Dame tonight. He's likely watching the game on his phone.

The winner of Saturday's contest will win the Big Ten East and take on Northwestern in the league's title game next week. The loser's season is over - until bowl season.

It's 24-19 and the second half is about to start. The game is currently on FOX.
