Ohio State is blowing out Wisconsin today in what many thought would be a Big Ten Championship Game preview. The defense has been stellar and given the offense great field position all day en route to a 38-7 win.

Naturally, ESPN analyst and former Ohio State quarterback Kirk Herbstreit just had to shout out his alma mater.

Taking to Twitter during the game, he praised the team for their "big win today."

Herbstreit specifically shouted out Chase Young, who had four sacks and two forced fumbles for the defense, and running back JK Dobbins who had over 220 yards from scrimmage and two TDs.

Young played so well that he started earning Heisman Trophy shouts on social media. He certainly looks like the best defender in America right now.

If not for Wisconsin's loss to Illinois last week, their blowout loss to Ohio State today might seem inexplicable. But that's not to take anything away from the Buckeyes, who have played their tails off today.

Ultimately this game still might wind up being a Big Ten title game preview. But Wisconsin no longer controls its own destiny with undefeated Minnesota leading the West.

Will we see this Ohio State-Wisconsin matchup again in 2019?
