Kirk Herbstreit Says Ohio State Will Be "Much Better Than Most Would Think" Next Season

Ohio State's football team is losing a heck of a lot of talent to the NFL this offseason, so expectations for the Buckeyes will be considerably lower in 2016 than they were in 2015.

Urban Meyer's squad, which was the unanimous No. 1 team in the country this past preseason, has nine underclassmen leaving for the pros. The Buckeyes will likely still be a preseason top 10-15 team, but many will be surprised if they seriously contend for a national title.

Kirk Herbstreit was asked today about his expectations for his alma mater next fall. The ESPN college football analyst thinks the Buckeyes will be "much better" than most expect.

We're with Herbstreit. We have Ohio State ranked No. 4 in our way-too-early preseason top 25 for 2016
