Ahead of FAU's match-up against the Ohio State Buckeyes, head coach Lane Kiffin met with the media to discuss their upcoming game. The interview went how one would expect.

The game's kick-off is set for 12 PM local time. Kiffin is hoping the earlier start will give his team an advantage, specifically from the crowd.

"Your hope is, with an early kickoff, it is not quite as loud early on as a night game," Kiffin said, via News Radio 610 WTVN. "Hopefully they arrive a little late and be nice to us."

The Owls know the caliber of the opponent they're about to face. FAU tight end Harrison Bryant mentioned he felt Ohio State is probably the best team he will ever face.

If that's true, FAU could be in for a long game.

FAU's 2018 season opener against Oklahoma on the road didn't turn out the way they hoped. The Owls managed to score just 14 points while allowing 63 to the Sooners.

Kiffin and his team are looking for a different outcome on Saturday.

But his plea for the Ohio State fans and players to 'be nice' won't go as planned — especially in a season opener.

Expect a typical, deafening crowd in Columbus on Saturday.
