It doesn't get much bigger for Ohio State's football program than what's set to occur over the next two weeks. The Buckeyes are hosting Michigan State at Ohio Stadium on Saturday before facing Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich. next weekend.
Win both, and the Big Ten Championship Game, and Urban Meyer's team will be in the College Football Playoff for the second year in a row.
One of the Buckeyes' biggest celebrity fans, LeBron James, is confident in his favorite team's chances. James spoke about the OSU-Michigan rivalry and Ohio State-Michigan State with the Cavs set to play the Pistons in Detroit.
"Well, it doesn't matter who's the coach over at Michigan, it's always a rivalry," James told reporters in a video shot by WXYZ-TV ahead of a game on the road at Detroit. "We really don't care who's at the helm over there."
"No, coach Urban Meyer will prepare the team to do their job in all three facets of the game, offense, defense and special teams," James said. "They'll be ready to go."
Ohio State and Michigan State are set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. E.T. Saturday. The game will be televised on ABC.
