Ohio State's Marshon Lattimore Wins 'National Defensive Player Of The Week' Award

Ohio State defensive back Marshon Lattimore turned in a fantastic performance Saturday against Tulsa.

Ohio State fans already knew that sophomore cornerback Marshon Lattimore had an incredible game against Tulsa on Saturday, but it looks like he's starting to get some respect on a national level now too. Lattimore, who recorded three tackles and two interceptions - one that was returned for a touchdown - has won the Walter Camp Football Foundation National Defensive Player of the Week award.

Ohio State celebrated the news Sunday morning. Lattimore's performance came during a rain-soaked 48-3 win over the Golden Hurricane.

Lattimore will need to continue to play well for the Buckeyes - next week, it gets a whole lot more difficult as the team heads to Norman to play Big 12 power Oklahoma.
