Maryland's Game Saturday vs. Ohio State Is First Sellout Since 2008

Maryland's first home game as a Big Ten program against a Big Ten foe will indeed be a sellout, the university announced Thursday morning in a press release. It's the first time Byrd Stadium has been sold out since November of 2008, when Florida State came to College Park for what the school called a "blackout" game. The Terps will look to fare better against Ohio State than they did against the Seminoles that day.

The Terrapins sit at 4-1 on the season with wins over James Madison, South Florida, Syracuse, new conference mate Indiana and a last-second loss to West Virginia. Ohio State enters the game with a 3-1 record with victories over Navy, Kent State and Cincinnati and one ugly loss to Virginia Tech. But regardless of whether this is one of the better Buckeyes teams in recent memory, it would be a monumental win if Maryland could pull it off.

The Terrapins and Buckeyes will kick off at 12:00 PM EST - you can catch the game on ABC.
