A Michigan football player had a brutally honest quote following the Wolverines' blowout loss at Ohio State this afternoon.

The Wolverines came into this afternoon's contest against the Buckeyes as the favorite, as Michigan was listed -5 at most of the sportsbooks by kickoff. Michigan needed a win to reach the Big Ten Championship Game and possibly secure a College Football Playoff spot.

Ohio State had other plans, though.

The Buckeyes dominated the Wolverines in every facet of the contest.

Michigan's players were quite honest following the game, too.

"They completely beat us everywhere," Michigan safety Tyree Kinnel said.

Here's the full quote, from

"They slowly devastated us throughout the game. Knowing all the yards they were putting up and how easily they were scoring, it was tough. It was very tough," Kinnel said. "They completely beat us everywhere. Run game, pass game, everyone is to blame."

Kinnel, a senior captain, will finish his career at Michigan having never beaten Ohio State.

Urban Meyer improved to 7-0 against "That Team Up North" with the win today.
