Mother Of Ohio State Player Is Pretty Upset That J.T. Barrett Isn't Part Of The Buckeyes' ESPY Contingent

A small group of Ohio State players, along with Urban Meyer, are currently traveling to Los Angeles to attend Wednesday night's ESPYs award show. The Buckeyes are up for "Best Team," while Cardale Jones is up for "Best Breakthrough Athlete."

The players: Jones, Ezekiel Elliott, Braxton Miller and Joshua Perry.

Annie Apple, the mother of OSU defensive back Eli Apple, is pretty upset that quarterback J.T. Barrett was not included in that group. The Buckeyes' record-setting quarterback deserved to go, she thinks.

It is interesting that Miller is going instead of Barrett, though Meyer does reward seniority.

If things go as planned for OSU this season, they'll likely have another trip to L.A. next summer. Barrett's time could come then.
