On Thursday night, the Minnesota Vikings hosted the Washington Redskins in a match-up of organizations on different wavelengths.

Minnesota entered the contest on a three-game winning streak, moving the team to 5-2 on the year. Washington, meanwhile, has struggled on both sides of the ball, leading to a poor 1-6 record on the year.

The Redskins played tough for much of the first half before starting quarterback Case Keenum went down with a concussion. After that it was all Vikings as Minnesota dominated the line of scrimmage en route to a 19-9 win.

Despite the loss, the Redskins had a few bright spots. Perhaps the best thing going for Washington has been the play of rookie wide receiver Terry McLaurin.

The former Ohio State wide receiver brought in four receptions for 39 yards - most of which came in the first half.

During the game, former NFL star and Hall of Famer, Troy Aikman raved about McLaurin.

Although he's only been in the league for a few weeks, McLaurin has made several NFL veterans look silly.

Last night, he burned Pro Bowl corner Xavier Rhodes and impressed the masses with his performance.

Next up for the Redskins is a road game against the Buffalo Bills.
