He's made his decision.

The annual recruiting holiday has lost some of its luster thanks to the Early Signing Period. Most prospects signed in December.

However, there are still quality recruits to be had. There are even a few five-stars still on the board.

Two 5-star recruits, Tyson Campbell and Patrick Surtain Jr., have already announced their destinations. Campbell is headed to Georgia, while Surtain Jr. is on his way to Alabama.

Meanwhile, another 5-star recruit was making his decision. Elite offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere announced his decision on Wednesday morning.

This has been a tough recruitment to get a read on, so nothing was clear until Petit-Frere put pen to paper. He had been linked to Florida and Michigan, among others schools.

Florida was the favorite to land Petit-Frere earlier in the week, but Ohio State made a late charge. The Buckeyes officially landed the No. 1 offensive tackle recruit.

Petit-Frere announced his decision on ESPNU.

Ohio State is in an intense battle with Georgia for the No. 1 recruiting class. Earlier this morning Georgia landed Tyson Campbell, but the Buckeyes answer with Petit-Frere.
