No, Ohio State Did Not Remove The "UM" Portion Of Its "OHIO STADIUM" Sign

It's tradition for Ohio State fans, players and coaches to avoid saying the word "Michigan" during rivalry week. It's also tradition for Ohio State students to cover up all instances of the letter "M" around campus. Monday afternoon, fans were almost fooled into believing that the school had a new custom.

The Twitter account @Mattaritaville, which is affiliated with the school's student section for men's basketball games, tweeted out a photo that appeared to show a crane removing the "UM" portion of the "OHIO STADIUM" sign at the Horseshoe.

It turns out, however, that the photo is a fake.
