Austin Mack, a four-star wide receiver in Ohio State's 2016 class, has become the first Buckeyes' freshman to get his black stripe removed.
Every OSU first-year player has to wear a black stripe on their helmet until it's deemed they're worthy of being an official member of the team.

Mack, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound wide receiver out of Indiana, was ranked the No. 10 WR in the class by 247 Sports' Composite Rankings. He could be someone who plays right away for Ohio State next fall.
