Ohio State Advances To Its First NCAA Men's Lacrosse National Championship

The Buckeyes are going to the national championship.

Saturday afternoon, Ohio State and Towson met in the semifinal round of the NCAA Lacrosse Tournament. The Buckeyes found themselves down at the half by a score of 7-3. Facing elimination, Ohio State fought back, and won the game by a one-goal margin: 11-10.

The win gives Ohio State its first ever berth into the NCAA Men's Lacrosse National Championship Game.

It's been an incredible run for the Buckeyes, who improved to 16-4 on the season. Ohio State will face the winner of the Maryland/Denver semifinal game to be played later this afternoon. The championship game is slated for Monday, May 29 in Gillette Stadium, the home of the New England Patriots.
