This afternoon, Urban Meyer announced that J.T. Barrett will take over as starting quarterback for Ohio State against Rutgers this Saturday. Barrett has been playing every week, but Cardale Jones had started every game for the Buckeyes this season, after leading the team to the national championship late last season filling in for Barrett. While Jones will likely still see time, ESPN's Joe Schad believes that even if he doesn't, he will be a high NFL Draft pick.

Jones failed to provide the spark as Ohio State's starter this year that he did in the 2014 post-season, but he still has one of the strongest arms in all of football. The first two rounds may be a bit early, but we wouldn't be shocked if Jones is taken by a team enamored with his physical gifts at some point.
